A mind game for 8-15 players, in which a vengeful group of villagers must figure out who among them is secretly a werewolf (before it's too late...) Each "night" the werewolves eat a villager, and each "day" the surviving villagers attempt to rid the town of werewolves by lynching one of their own!

Excellent game for larger groups

Are You A Werewolf is the BEST game I have ever played!!! Since the game requires at least 8 players, the first time I pulled the game out I actually had to BEG several people to just give me 20 minutes to try the game. After 20 minutes no one wanted to quit. In fact, within the hour we had 16 people playing. Everyone had a great time. We ended up playing that first time for 2 1/2 hrs; laughing hysterically the whole time.

If you can get at least 8 people together you must try this game!!! FYI There are other versions of Werewolf that can accommodate even more than 16 players.

To add a little atmosphere to the game, when the Moderator begins to read the script, "It is night. The moon is full...", our group howls at the moon. This may sound corny, but it is a very effective way to get everyone into the right mood...

Anime Next's Best Night Game

I just came from Anime Next anime convention. I spent 2 nights playing Are you are werewolf? Around 2-3am leaving. I must say, it kept everyone up. The more people you have, the better the game was. First few rounds are slow, but after a while, you get everyone. Everyone develops a strategy.

Great game, if you don't take it TOO seriously

Your a humble villager, you go to sleep for the night, the only problem is your next door neighbor didnt wake up. his body is found by the town of villagers. he was killed, by a werewolf.

LETS GET HIM! a villager crys, then someone points out that the werewolf is probably umong them...

Decide who to lynch, stay innocent, there are 2 werewolfs around, you might even be one of them. Choose someone to lynch, but be careful, if the town decides not to lynch them, you may be next.

Cant look too innocent, night may come around, and the werewolfs will kill another.

Are you a werewolf?

This game is great, at Origins 2002 gaming convention(www.originsgames.com) me and about 14 other people Played this game for 12 hours non stop.

This game requires 8+ people so its not something you can play with a friend on a saturday afternoon, but, if you have 8 or so bored people sitting around, theres no end to the fun you can have.

This game could end in as soon as 15 minutes, or go for as long as 12 hours

Only the survivors win.
