Customer Reviews
We had a games night on Christmas Eve and played both games, Worst Case and Trivial Pursuit. Worst case came first and was a new game for us as a group. For a bit of zany fun, this game had us in stitches of laughter. It drew bits of grainy knowlege from geography, history, Latin, French and other areas from now and decades ago. One answer is the most correct and you have to figure out what that answer is. What I liked about this game, that I detest about Trivial Pursuit, since we have a TP lover as another review, is that you can be of any country of origin and still be able to answer the questions, whereas TP, you need to have been dragged up in the culture and country where that set of game cards originates. All ages can play Worst Case, whereas TP (Genius Edition) needs someone who is in their 40s to 80s to have a clue at some of the answers. Finally, the game was over with laughter in roughly an hour. We womyn trounced the two male teams.. whereas TP dragged on for 2 hours and we had to cheat to get pie.. and at the end, we lost our impetus to keep playing more games and continue the fun. So.. there you have it.. 26-52 year olds gave this game a resounding thumbs up!
While the concept is great, the execution is
very poor. About half of the questions have
answers that seem VERY VERY arbitrary (I'm a
poet). I don't recomend this game to
anyone. Get Trivial Pursuit if you want
questions that have been researched.
This was probably one of the worst games I have ever played in my life. The questions were poor, and were not educational at all. Luckily, I picked this up at a thrift store as opposed to purchasing it new. I would not recommend this game to anyone. Other Resources for The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Game:
