Why would you go out and buy blank cards to a game? Because you can make it even more unique than it was already. We had a blast creating our own actions, keepers and goals (we even illustrated our own :-).
Fluxx is a relatively mindless game, but it is fun and the Fluxx Blanxx are what make it so.
Out of the box, Fluxx is a fun game but very random. There is some strategy, but as the rules and goals change, your strategy must as well, but what I love most about this game is your ability to be creative and expand with Fluxx Blanx cards.
Fluxx Blanx cards let you make your own Rule, Action, Keeper and Goal cards to make the game what you want it to be.
My friends and I have made rules where you have to talk like William Shatner, talk in rhymes, or all questions. We've also made a handful of cards that turn Fluxx into a drinking game. You can make Keepers that are abound with inside jokes, and rules that make hillarious combinations.
With Fluxx Blanx, Fluxx is as good as you make it!
