Product DescriptionBuilding trains is an integral part of America's history. Now the tradition continues with Express, a unique card game for the 90's. Reminiscent of classic card games but including new play twists, Express is as easy to learn as rummy. Players start with a one-car train and build on their meld to maximize points and bonuses. But players must be wary of train wrecks and derailments. Unique play allows partners to pass key cards to each other during the game. Express is sure to be a hit for years to come. I like train games, but this game was sitting in my closet for some time, because it doesnt really seem like it will set me on fire. I was wrong, this game is a lot of fun. A little vicious (a la [page scan/se=0174/sf=category/fi=stockall.asc/ml=20]Mille Bornes): derail others' trains, steal cars... Its a collecting game that I highly recommend. I have not played partners, that could be fun too. Well worth the price of admission.
At first a game about trains sounded boring to me. However this game is very fun to play as individuals or as partners. Partners is a little bit more fun because it's fun to trade locos. I definitely recommend this game.
An easy card game sort of like rummy and Millie Bornes, this railroad card game allows you to build your trains with different cargo car cards or play a card that will alternate your opponents' trains. The object is to build five-car, four-car, and three-car trains. The game is great with any combination of players: 2, 3, or 4 person game. I found this game easier than Fright Train: although I liked it too. Other Resources for Express:
