An exciting fantasy game giving thoughtful & imaginative play experience. Our princess is a sturdy little girl in the Castle who needs to be rescued from a Mean Guard & Fierce Dog. It's not going to be easy, and besides, Darkness is coming! Off we go through Fields, Woods, Mountains, & Villages in search of Things Magical & Practical needed to free the Princess. We'll do some sharing, help each other to remember where Special Things are hidden and together think our way past the Obstacles.
This game deserves a life time gurantee.I was given this game as a gift when I was 6 I recently turned 16 and It never has become tetious.I play it with my own friends and the kids I babsit.It Provides a challenge for all ages in fact I find its harrder for adults because they are unable to think out of the box .But take warning It is only fun when you don't limit yourself by thinking a keys for a door ,or a bones for a dog be creative strech the limits and make the items magical the less sensible you think the more fun it is.It's best played as a can'tless game.
If you have a little girl and are sick of Princess Barbies and glittery dress-up crowns, then this is the game for you. Its name and basic premise will attract even the most stubborn holdouts among the regal set in your household, but the methods you must use to save the princess will warm your heart. As with all of the Family Pastimes games, there is room for creative problem-solving, like how do you get past a castle guard when your only 'weapon' is a pair of glasses (we like to interpret this scenario by 'borrowing' the guard's very thick glasses and then sneaking by). As long as the players agree that it's a solution, then it is! The Family Pastimes games are by far are favorites, and this one will appeal to those perhaps most in need of its cooperative values!
