It's all fun and games until someone loses a Spleen. Parts Unknown is a game of buying, selling, price-gouging and profiteering in a tiny Victorian town gone crazy. Old Man Frankenstein made quite a splash with that little "monster" of his, and now everybody and his half-brother wants to be the next guy to play God. Everyone, that is, but you.
See, you know that none of these losers will amount to anything, and that anybody with half a brain belongs in the lucrative Body Parts 'n Gizmos business. Like most fads, you're pretty sure that this one will only last for a year, or until everyone is dead. So call up your gravedigger, stock up on body parts, and get ready for the rush.
Game Synopsis: On your turn, you buy random "product" cards from your Gravediggers (the deck) and then put stuff on your shelves. You price each item individually, opting for the best profits or the guaranteed sales. If you have something you just can't sell, throw it into your grab-bag and clear it out at the end of the month. When you're all done, move Doctor Frankenstein and see what sells this week. Parts Unknown is a decidedly simple but effective economic simulation, which must be accurate because it inspires such heated arguments about the best way to win.
