Barbecue with a vampire
August 29, 2007

For our 11th birthday party, me and my sister had Epoisde 2, "Barbecue with a Vampire" I can tell you, the game was very well organized, and it was the best party EVER! We decorated our basement to a bat-halloween theme, and circled around the TV using couches, floor and some chairs for people to sit on. True, it did go a little slow at first, but everyone had a great time!! So much in fact, my friends wanted to host a mystery, and were doing another episode next year!!!

We did have a few extra people, so we paired up. I would highly recommend this to any person 11-14.

Best Party EVER!!!
December 31, 2006

My friend had this party for her 11th birthday. This party was the BEST party I have ever been to, I'm going to have the "Hot Times at Hollywood High" for my birthday. She set up her basement like the rockstar's castle and had pictures of bats on the walls. She had eight pilows in a circle set up on the floor with our character's guide on each pillow. On a nearby table was a bowl of "Blood Punch" and vampire snacks. Her mom dressed up as a servant and hosted the party. The beginning is a little slow, but you quickly get into it once you learn your first secrets. Before each round, the mom would take anybody who needed help understanding some of the things like blackmail, and privately explain it to them. For the most part, everybody dressed up and really got into their characters. The party got to the point that everybody was screaming, and refusing to stop for cake. (The ice cream was soup by the time we would go up to eat.) For dinner they did BBQ ribs and salads. The party took about five hours, but we stopped for dinner, cake, and presents. You could bring it down to 3 1/2 or four hours if you push people along a bit, and go through dinner. Right before we revealed the information, everybody revealed all of their secret information to narrow it down to three suspects. Even after doing this, nobody suspected who really ended up doing it. I recommend this party for kids 12 and up who will really get into the party. As said before, the kid who never talks might not be the best guest for this party.

FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS.

Even better than the first! Quirky, and lots of fun!

This is a great game for a more structured party, it's intriguing and fun... I played the first one of this series when I was 12, now I'm 17 and I still like them (but I wish they'd hurry up and make some different ones!). I highly recommend it... have a blast!
