Kuba is played on an attractive board, using 29 solid glass marbles. The first player to force seven of the neutral red marbles off the playing surface is the winner. How do you move the marbles? Instead of picking the marbles up to "jump," you move by pushing. Push one marble to move another or push one to move whole rows. Learn the rules in five minutes; play for a lifetime.
My teacher has this game and when we have no homework few of my friends and I play it. It's amazing, and very addictive. Sometimes the game gets very intense. I say the game doesn't last for 20 minutes, I say they last more as an hour if you're really thinking about it. This game is the best marble game ever invented, and if you want something that will make you think then this is game is for you! It's worth the money!
My teacher has Kuba in his class room, and a few kids come in early like 2 hours before school starts. So to keep us from getting bored we play Kuba. I'm in 5th grade and I love Kuba. It's exciting to play, but also to watch! I can't wait to own my game of Kuba! It's terrific!
I picked up Kuba in a game store in Chicago and we've all become addicted to it. Simple rules, but the play varies as we try different strategies on attack. Very satisfying to run your opponent's marbles into the gutter. Sometimes hard to rememeber that's not really the point to the game.
