Lots of fun and you'll learn some unusual trivia.
February 08, 1999

A TV game show favorite for many years, this home version is just as enjoyable. It is best played with 2 players and 1 MC. You win the game by getting three X or O symbols in a row, as in Tic-Tac-Toe, or five of the same symbols anywhere on the board. Guest stars such as Barbie Cue, April Showers or Tom Foolery are placed in the board to help distinguish each square. The players pick a star and the MC reads the question, and provides an answer that could be correct or just a bluff. The players then agree or disagree to the answer given, and if correct, the player wins the square. The questions are usually multiple choice, true/false or yes/no, making it easy for the MC to give a bluff if he or she chooses. Questions are just as unique as the TV versions and are often very trival and unusual. Players are able to select from 12 different stars to place in the 9 squares, each with a biography for added fun. Static cling X and O symbols are stuck to the board when a player 'gets the square.' The first player to win 2 out of 3 games wins the match. This home version does not contain a secret square game or bonus round like the TV version. But, you could easily add those features if you wanted.
