Imaginiff would be an excellent answer to this question. I have had several requests to bring this one again and again.

Game play is pretty simple. Each player chooses a color of pawn and places it at the start. They are then given 6 vote cards in their color, numbered 1 through 6). Eight names are written on the board in a circle. The names should be of those playing the game and, if there is less than eight playing, people that all the players know.

On your turn you roll the die and move a marker around the circle. When you stop on a name you pull a card from the box and use that name to fill in the blank. The questions are all silly theoretical ones like, "Imaginiff _____ was a famous movie line what would he/she be?" There are 6 multiple choice answers offered up. Everyone chooses the vote card from their hand that matches the answer they think most appropriate, and they put it face down on the table. When everyone has voted, the cards are revealed.

Here comes the fun part of Imaginiff...Majority rules! Everyone who votes for the most popular answer moves one space forward (the reader moves 2 if they're right). Why is this so fun? Because if the question is about you it doesn't matter what you vote, if everyone else thinks you would be something else, you don't move. I guess you don't know yourself very well.

There are also challenges where only 2 players play and if they guess the same answer, they both move several spaces, but if they're wrong they move back. Also there are Bonus cards that you can play with your vote card and move extra spaces if you are in the majority on that vote.

Imaginiff is not the perfect party game, it has a few flaws:

1. It doesn't have enough cards to provide as many games as our friends want to play. It loses some of it's humor when cards are repeated.


2. You can't play with new-comers to your group. They will be at a definite disadvantage, since they don't know anyone yet.


3. You need to be careful not to offend people sometimes. If you vote that your wife is like a lion when she's mad, watch out... she may become that lion real quick.

Otherwise Imaginiff is a great party game for small to medium-sized groups. It always seems to entertain, and you'll find out a little of what others think of you.
