These tracks Zoom! (aka 'rock', for the younger crowd.) Finally the US Formula De tracks have arrived. Not since Interlagos and Magny Cours tracks have some great high speed rings been released. Now, with the addition of Portland and Elkhart Lake, there's going to be a lot of 6th gear rolling and rumbling. Indianapolis will offer some interesting races going over three laps, possibly adding some options for NASCAR rules. The inclusion of the inner track on Indianapolis is an added bonus. It's like getting 5 tracks in the set instead of four. This track will really be great for doing time trials for pole positions. Great value! The Monterey track will probably prove to play fast also (I haven't tried that one yet) with its many one stop turns. With the future addition of the next US 4 pack tracks (including Lexington and Detroit) along with the previous releases of Long Beach and Watkins Glen, you'll be able to set up a full US season. If you're into Formula De, these tracks are a must! Expect to be burning out a few more engines and racing in the rain a little more at Portland (I think the rolls for weather changes at Portland should have been tuned about an extra one or two towards the rain).

I give the tracks the following grades:

• Portland - A+ (hey, ya gotta love the hometown)
• Monterey - B+
• Elkhart Lake - A
• Indianapolis - A

Overall, for value, playability, and fun, I give it a 95db (out of 100) on the Mulder Meter. It loses 5 db since the thickness of the card stock has been reduced since the release of tracks 21/22 (cost cutting I guess, but still good quality).
