Great Party Game

Played this for the first time about a month ago and LOVED it - silly, loud, fun for all. Can be fun for adults or older kids - we ditched the points system and just kept playing hands until we were sick of playing - an hour later!

This game is the loudest and most hilariously frantic game I have ever seen. If you're looking for chess, look elswhere. If you're looking for a very simple fun game that does not last very long, then this one is for you.

The basic idea is that everyone wants all of the cards in their hand to be the same. As soon as someone does this, the round is over, and they get points equal to the number that is stated on the card (50 - 100 I think). The only rule in trading is that you can only state the number of cards that you are willing to trade. If you agree to trade two cards, then you give two cards and you receive two cards.

Sound simple? It is! And it is hilarious to watch people yelling at each other "two! two!", "three, three, three! I need three!"...

The non-gamer members of my family pull this one out on holidays and vacations, and I usually just hold my tongue and play along - after all, they will suffer through games I like.

Sometimes, though, I have to demonstrate just how broken this game is by collecting one card of every suit, and then sitting quietly while the the rest of the table searches frantically for that one card.
