Did you go to college? Or just wish that you did?
December 22, 2002

Positive: For those of us out here that are more than familiar with that lifestyle of many-friends-in-a-small-place, this game is a riot! This does not mean that you have personally done everything on each card, but you certainly know someone who has. The game can certainly lead to story telling with the right group of friends, a major bonus for any game.

Negative: Certain errors in play can lead to a slow game (attempting to figure out order of play for cards, for example, although 'last-in-first-out' i.e. Magic: The Gathering, seems to work fine), and those stories can definitely drag a game out. But, then again, that is why you are playing in the first place, right? It also seems as if they had a problem matching colors from game to game, for the purple backs do not match from each set. This is not a problem for you true college people out there, of course.

Verdict: With games of this type, the more cards you get, the better. It adds to the replayability since it becomes harder to remember all the cards and less likely to see every card in any given game. If 1 and 2 were fun for you, you might as well pick up this handy box to store all of your cards in while at the same time picking up additional cards.

Keep the Geekness Alive!
December 09, 2002

Chez Geek Block Party is the third expansion to the Geek apartment. It even comes boxed in the building.

It is more of all the things you love about Geekdom. More wanted people, nookie, booze, food and stuff so you can party till the old guy upstairs calls the cops.

The set consists of 55 new cards in full color illustrated by the head geek John Kovalic. The box is nicely oversized so you can fit the whole Geek series inside. The game play is still quick and as much fun as the original. It is still best to play with a group of 4 or more for maximum fun.

If you and your friends are watching TV or bored playing the game station take out Chez Geek 1,2 or 3 for fun dose of slack.
