Even though we played the game for the first time, we quickly adapted several strategies. You learn that if there are too many sellers for a particular item, it is good to get rid of inventory at basement-bargain prices and to concentrate on something else. On the other hand, everyone can benefit if all of you hold high prices. Items within a specific category has different prices, making pricing a difficult challenge. The game is quite fun for several adults, especially if you have an economics major making wise-cracks.
This is a very good financial game. You are a dealer in spare body parts trying to guess what the mad scientist community will be needing to build their own monsters. The demand is controlled by Dr. Victor Frankenstein who strolls around the shops. Whenever he stops to look at merchandise the mad scientist community start buying that type of organs for their own experiments. You only have so much shelf space so you try to stock what you think will be in demand. It's possible that too many of a type of organ are in supply and that will affect future sales. If there is a shortage, townspeople will start to disappear. This is a very good supply and demand game that works very well. Up there with Cheapass's Give Me the Brain as a super bargain. Highly recommended.
