I play games of all kinds, and this is definitely in my top 10 list. While the rules at first may seem a bit intimidating, once you get the hang of it, things get really fun. I have also played the campaign version and enjoyed it immensely (takes a lot of time!). This can be a rather long game depending on the number of players involved, but is actually even more fun when you have 7-8 chariots crowding the lanes (lots of chances for flips, accidents, etc.). Serious gamers will love this game. It truly has a great mix of chance and strategy to make it compelling. You will play it over and over, trying different strategies each time. Each game is different. Highly recommended.
