The current player chooses to flip from two to five of the shuffled facedown letter tiles. The first player to shout an acceptable word containing all the flipped letters wins the tiles.

If the letters ST, C, D, and V were picked, an answer could be DeSTruC tiVe (letter pairs must be used in the order shown). Reshuffle the tiles with the others if everyone is stumped. Highest score triumphs when all tiles, worth from 1 to 3 points, are won.

In the Advanced game, roll two dice to determine how many tiles you draw, and how many (zero to three) to snatch from competitors' winnings. Reveal the stolen and drawn tiles. Form a word with them in 30 seconds, or pass them to your left. Whoever can form a word wins them. Rounds end when there are insufficient tiles to draw. A very sensible choice for word-loving families.
