Product Description

Each player receives an identical set of pieces and boards. The pieces are composed of 4 or 5 squares connected to form different shapes. The boards show a large outline and indicate which pieces are to be used. A board is randomly revealed and players race to fill the shape with the indicated pieces. They must complete the shape and grab their rewards before time runs out.

Excellent & Challenging

This game was a different game that was bought for my son by his grandfather. Having no clue what it would be like but knowing how we love family board games, we opened it up and to our surprise it was so much fun! Solving the puzzles with our nine year old made you think, figure out different ways to look at things, all while having fun trying to beat your opponent. We cannot stop playing this game. Our son beats us most of the time. We had our adult neighbors come over and the adults just played it and they loved it. I cannot imagine why anyone would not love this game but it is great in my opinion. Our neighbors are planning on buying this game.

The basic rules: Setup
You have 72 jewels that are divided up equally into 6 different colors. You randomly place those jewels in holes in the board in 6 different rows. You place your colored pawn at the bottom of the board in alignment with one of the rows. Play
You have puzzle pieces that you need to correctly arrange into a puzzle board. You need to do the arrangement in 30 seconds and then grab the bottom 2 jewels from the row that your pawn is in alignment with. If you finish first, you can move your pawn along the bottom up to 3 spaces. The second place finisher can move 2 spaces and the third place finisher 1 space the fourth 0 spaces. Again, you move the pawn first and then grab the 2 jewels from the bottom of that row. Finish
The player who has the most jewels of the same color after 9 rounds of play (one round is one puzzle). I like this game but . . .

The rules are a little bit tough to understand. I had to search online to get some rules clarification. Case in point: You move the "pawns" along the base of the board after you have solved the puzzle. We were initially moving the pieces up the rows and also from row to row. You ONLY move them left to right at the bottom of the board.
After solving the puzzle it is easy to get in each others way when grabbing for the jewels.
If you are not good at solving the puzzles, you can be quickly out of the game.
The pawns are too close in color and I was always trying to remember what color I was.

Overall the game is fun and fast paced but not one of my favorites.
