Customer Reviews
First the bad: The map is large but many provinces are too small and the bits a fiddly. We play with poker chips which helps a bit (and frees up the small 1 and 5 rupiah bits to be used as goods-movement markers). Then the good: Fairly deep game of industrial growth set in (obviously) Indonesia. Players acquire companies and run various companies that change during the game's three eras. Heart of the game is adroit management of shipping ones products to previously established cities during operation rounds for maximum capital and then using that money to merge your (or others) companies during a merger round. Highly recommended to fans of the 18xx series. Easily one of the best non-18xx games I've played in many years (only the map/bit fidllyness saved the game from being 5 stars).
