Nice filler game - great with kids
March 21, 2007

Swipe is a good filler game, and works well when playing with a mix of kids and adults.

It handles up to five players. Everyone starts out with two dice, any extra dice and all the chips go into the center of the table. You each take turns rolling your dice. Depending on what you roll you either 1) get a chip from the center of the table, 2) swipe a chip from another player's stash, 3) get a die from the center of the table, 4) swipe a die from another player, or 5) get one die from each player (with the super swipe roll). No player can lose all of his/her dice.

Game play continues until all of the chips are claimed from the middle of the table. The person with the most chips wins.

Swipe is a nice, light filler-game. Game play goes quickly; it's almost totally luck based (except when choosing from whom to swipe a die or chip).

Swipe works remarkably well when played with kids. My four- and six-year-old nephews both just loved the idea that they could swipe something from someone else (a time when stealing is legal!).

This game gives you plenty of bang for the buck, especially if you have kids in the house.
