Product Description

The Pharaoh Khufu and his descendants, Khafre and Menkaure, have commissioned three pyramids to be built. As an Egyptian pyramid builder in ancient Giza, you will try to construct the finest three pyramids using good quality stones and to fill the pyramids with as much treasure as possible. Your rivals may try to thwart you by sabotaging your pyramid with inferior stones, by demolishing your constructed levels or by releasing scarabs at your construction sites to scare away your workers. Perhaps you may need to do the same to your rivals so that your three pyramids will be the finest ones chosen by the Pharaohs for their after-life!

Giza-probably better for smaller numbers
June 14, 2006

Giza is a pyramid building game where the game stops when either all the tiles are gone or somone built 3 pyramids. Has the potential to be a strategy game but with the max number of people it usually seemed to be who could build the most and get the most treasure before the tiles ran out. There are pyramid tiles with positive points=good stones, negative points= cracked stones, treasure, demolition tiles, and scarabs. I usually enjoy a see how you can thwart your neighbor game but if you tried that in this game there were not enough tiles for you to build your pyramids. With only 2 people you could actually use some strategy but with 5 there just aren't enough tiles to strategize.
