Product Description

Yes, it's Fluxx... with Zombies! Zombie Fluxx introduces a new type of card: The Creeper. It's like a Keeper you don't want but must play anyway. The good news is, Zombie Fluxx also includes a bunch of Keepers you can use as weapons against the Zombie-Creepers, plus you've got Sandwiches and Coffee and a couple of Friends to help you win. The bad news is, if your Friends become Zombies, you'll have to destroy them!

Best version of Fluxx
January 09, 2008

The core idea behind Fluxx is simple, that the rules change by the cards played. Looney labs has put out many versions of Fluxx, and it's proven to be a good gateway game to get non-gamers involved in games. Many of the other versions of Fluxx are not very different from the original game, just a change of theme and minor improvements in the cards.

Zombie Fluxx, however, adds a new card type, namely Creepers, and this adds a new dimension to the game that improves the strategy and decisions, and makes the game more fun. These anti-keepers come into the game quickly and move the game into the interesting middle stages of the game faster than in other versions of Fluxx. All the best parts of the original Fluxx are present and some are even improved, and they all work very well with the Creeper cards.

This is my favorite version of Fluxx, by a wide margin, and I highly recommend it.

Fluxx but Better
January 11, 2011

I've been a fan of original Fluxx for years and was pleasantly surprised that this version wasn't just a variation of the theme but an improvement on how the game plays. The introduction of the Creeper cards is perfect and adds a whole new dimension of game play and fun to what was already a great game. Creepers are played like the traditional Keeper cards but these cards interact with other players, your Keepers, and the Goal cards. Tons of fun with a lot of good humor and by far my favorite version of the game.

Everything's better with Zombies!
November 11, 2007

I love the original Fluxx. If you like the original Fluxx you should like Zombie Fluxx just as much. For me it's just like the original, but with a better sense of humor. The pictures are fun and my favorite goal is the "UNGOAL" where the zombies win and everyone else loses. I haven't been able to cause that to happen yet, but I look forward to it. Playing time is a bit longer than original Fluxx, because the Zombies are there to keep you from winning. One friend of mine prefers the original because of this, but I prefer the Zombies.

I haven't combined it with original Fluxx, but it says that you can do that and I think that would be a lot of fun.

If you really like Fluxx and love Zombies then you should love Zombie Fluxx.
