In the impossibly picturesque Spanish city during the year 1600, players attempt to forge magnificent swords and deliver them to the Emperor. They travel the hilly streets of the city where they can visit the studio of the great painter El Greco and the city's shops where they compete to acquire the best steel and gems as well as the services of the finest sword smiths in order to create the most magnificent set of weapons. But Toledo is a dangerous place and they may have to engage in duels to protect their honor.

Designed by Martin Wallace, Toledo is an intricate, but easy-to-learn casual, social board game for 2-4 players ages 10 and up. Playing time averages between 60 to 90 minutes.
