One of my favorite games of all time, I played the old version about 2 weeks ago and my memories instantly flooded back. There is definitely a lot of strategy in the game as you look at the spaces on the board and map out your plan to success. As the game winds down and you know that someone else is as close as you to winning, the suspense can be unbearable!

...which were the 2 rather monotonous board games my 9 year old had for Christmas last year. On a visit to my parents I found out the version of Careers I had been given in the 1970's and we've had such fun playing it, although my son is a little fed up because he hasn't managed to beat me yet. Somehow he never quite makes the money target he sets himself. We will definitely be finding space in our luggage to take the game back home with us.
