First of all, this game has nothing similar to Sorry! besides the shape of the pawns. These pawns have a small rollerball under them which make them slide so smoothly on the cardboard. Given this, the game is more like playing curling, or bowling. And it's really fun and the various variants also make this a game of some strategy and tactics, since the pawn remains in the scoring field you can try to bump other player's pawns out etc.
