I loved the orginal Qwirkle and this new version is just better on all fronts. The cubes are very well made, the rules have no holes and can be absorbed in just a few minutes. The game plays well from ages 6 and up (the game is fun for all ages).

The best change to the orginal rules is the ability to rerolling the cubes that have been drawn, this gives you lots of chances to go for the bonus score of 6 extra points for strings of 6 cubes. The box is small so it's easy to carry it around and if that's a bit to bulky then you can carry the cubes around in the very well made drawing bag that comes with the game. When I teach someone this game they always want to get their own copy. I think it's great.
