Scattergories is an ah-mazing game that I am so happy was invented. It is a game which all family members will love and enjoy. It tests your common knowledge, vocabulary, and the fun and talkative side of you. I love the variety of categories from Food to Gemstones. Trying to create or think of a word that fits into both the right letter and right category makes your brain stir, which I LOVE. Everyone must have scattergories!
The game is great with friends and almost anybody! One idea about only 12 cards is to play them with a different letter. Make sure you don't play the same letter with the same card when you still remember answers to that letter. Just roll the die again. Scattergories challenges your thinking skills, and puts them to the timer!
This is a great game to play with family and friends. The only drawback that we have found so far, is the non-availability of additional category cards. Once all 12 cards have been played, it can be repetitive. If anyone happens to know how to get additional category cards, please email us with information. Thank you.
