Consensus is a game about opinions. It is not a trivia game, nor is it a strategy game. It is a game that allows its participants to express themselves as individuals and/or as part of a group.

Although Consensus is the perfect game for a party setting, it is extremely well suited as a family game. In addition, it has a subtle yet strong educational component as well.

Each round, one Adjective Card and ten Noun Cards are revealed. Using Voting Cards, players secretly select which noun best fits the adjective. After the votes are in, the majority answer wins the round and those who voted for the majority answer advance one space. After each round, each Noun Card that received a vote is replaced, and so is the Adjective Card. Voting resumes. First to the end wins!
