Welcome to Ancient Rome, a swinging little town with a little something for everyone. You're a hot-blooded aristocrat, with just enough inbreeding to make you a little defensive. And you've got a hundred Ducats burning a hot, round hole in your pocket.
You decide that gambling is your thing. Gambling is fun. Gambling is easy. And it's also woefully unregulated. So you buy your own chariot, outfit it with deadly weapons, and find the most ruthless chariot driver west of the Steppes. You're convinced that the more money you bet, the more you will win. Which is true, even if most of what you win was yours to begin with.
Game Synopsis: Ben Hvrt is a gambling game, but you don't play for real money (we hope). Players run a series of races, each race 1 to 6 laps long. Before each race, players pay money into the pot to outfit their chariots, and improve their hands. During the race, players use their cards to help them win the race. The pot is divided among the three top finishers. Cards you don't use in one race are carried over to the next one, so holding back on the first race can set you up nicely for the next one.
A chariot race, with some cool twists with the cards: like you can get a monkey that you throw on someone behind you (slowing them down), who can then throw it on back.
One race takes about 30 minutes, but best to run 3-4 races.
