And for those players who would like to upgrade some of their old Cheapass Games to the same box, we are now making blank boxes available.
The blank box is a lovely white box suitable for customizing with your favorite artwork, stickers, or pizza stains. And it contains enough air to sustain you for two minutes! Ok, we won't claim this box is something everyone needs. In fact, we're pretty sure no one needs them at all. But we've made them, and you can buy them if you want.
Never have I been so riveted, so enthralled by a single gaming accessory. Cheapass Games has unleashed upon the gaming world a new product, mysteriously titled 'Cheapass Empty Box', and no one will ever be the same.
The versatility of the Cheapass Empty Box is too extensive and broad for me to go into details. Instead, I'll just say that the Cheapass Empty Box is so revolutionary, so enthralling, that I have been forced to simply sit here in amazement ever since I read about it. God bless the Empty Box. (In all seriousness though, they're good to put old 'envelope-style' games into; no longer will your copy of Kill Doctor Lucky be subject to the elements--mine was nearly ruined by rain.)
Wow! This is quite a find. It's not often that you find so much outside the box and so little inside.
You can store your Cheapass games that were originally in a paper envelope into something more substantial.
Remember, games are fun, so why not 'push the envelope' and 'think outside the box' a little.
I have seen a lot of reviews on this site from people who thought it would be funny to give an exceptional rating to a game accessory, as if it was the cure for cancer, or at least the be-all and end-all of gamedom.
What we have here is an inexpensive cardboard box, which can be used to hold envelope games, spare rules sets, etc. That's all. Buy it if you need it, otherwise no reason to get this.
Please, people, levity has its place but let's not skew the ratings....
