In 1620 British emigrants traveled to the New World and settled in an area they called New England. In order to survive, they had to quickly build shelter and grow crops.

Players start with a few small plots of land and some development cards. Land tiles are auctioned off to expand existing lots and eventually score victory points. Other cards give players higher income or other bonus options, or they can be kept for victory points.

The player with the most victory points at the end of the game wins.
