This is our favorite of the recent releases based on Chez Geek. A randomly assigned Rank card illustrates your Income and Free Time per turn, your unique Privilege, and the Slack points needed for victory.

Every turn, use each Free Time allotment for Shopping or Activities, which produce Slack points; your Income pays for the right to lay cards from your hand in either category faceup. You can also add Slack-producing People on a successful die roll. Better still, jerks producing zero or less Slack (including the Colonel, of course), who restrict Shopping or Activities, can be dumped on competitors. Action cards, playable out of turn, cancel others' attempts to lay cards or increase your scope for the current turn. You win immediately when your displayed cards show that you've reached your Slack goal. John Kovalic's amusing artwork rounds out this entertaining escape from the workaday world.
