Rome is in a state of emergency, the Senate and the Guard are embroiled in fierce arguments, the people are divided. Many roads lead to Rome, whether you decide to use powerful cards such as the Tower and the Praetorian Guard to protect the power and victory points you have, or instead prefer to Consul and the Tribune to skillfully pull the strings behind the scenes. Whoever succeeds in using connections and manages to play their cards will at the end deserve their victor's laurels.

Recommended buy for a game with unique mechanics, great game to be playing when watching Rome or the Discovery channel.
This 2 players game is a lot of fun! When I bought it, we started our weekly game nights with this one for a long period of time. Each game is 30 minutes (sometimes shorter), so you can play a few games.
Being very aggressive, it's really not the kind of game where each player does his little thing... Even if 7 dices are included, luck is not the decisive thing in this game (but luck is present).
Top quality material. Nice cards. Cards offer fun and enjoyable characters.
It's a good way to start the night or to end it - but it should be the main course ;-)
I definitely recommend it.
