In spite of the inhabitants rallying to uncover the lycanthropes among them, the village of Millers Hollow was devastated by the werewolves. Now the ferocious creatures prowl the hamlet, and the villagers barricade themselves inside their cottages, being careful not to go outside at nightfall. However, a feeble hope still remains. Hidden in the deepest depths of the wastelands, the Resistance is organized and prepared. New characters with promising abilities join the battle against the terrible werewolves. Nevertheless, the fight is sure to be savage, because it's the new moon!

Wherewolf is a FANTASTIC game.. Very social.. Although I wish there was a place we could discuss 'errata'. We actually had an instance last night with the 'event' cards.... We only had 2 female players left in the game, and they were BOTH werewolves... We drew a card that said "The girls go into 1 building by themselves, the guys in a building by themselves... The werewolves MUST eat someone only from their own building". Well.. The last werewolf was male, so he had a smorgasboard.. But.. What about the girls? Wolves aren't supposed to fear on each other, however, the card said MUST eat.. with must in capitals..
Does the werewolf live... or die...? We ruled die... Because MUST was in capital letters..
If you have played the base game, Werewolves of Miller's Hollow, you know how much bang you get for your buck with this simple little game.
The expansion has:
- Some interesting new characters represented by stickers that you place on the base set townsfolk cards. (Sorry, no actual character cards in this expansion).
- New Moon "event cards," which alter the daytime voting rounds, nighttime deaths, etc.
- A new booklet with some FANTASTIC suggestions for variants on the game. This is definitely the best thing about the expansion pack.
Of course, there is no way you will be able to use all of the characters, event cards and variants in one single game. But this expansion pack is well worth its price to spice up your base set of Werewolves.
