The end of days is close. Darkness and light will clash.
All Gods know what this means for them. Blood ties will no longer be respected, brother will fight against brother, and no man will spare another. Odin, Freyja, Týr, Loki, Hel, Thor, and Baldr forge their plans and promise great rewards to the ones who will help them prevail. Eventually Fenrir, Mímir, and Surtr will join the battle.
Ask for help at the right time, and the gods will grant you their powers. Will you ask Freyja to recruit the fallen warriors of Valhalla, or will you use the cunning of Loki and Hel to make an opponent's armies die or switch sides at a critical moment? Will you ask Týr to help win a decisive battle, or will you consult Mímir's wisdom in order to gain a tactical advantage?
In Asgard, you want to support the gods by erecting temples and by convincing brave warriors and mighty giants to side with them. You can influence which god will fight which during the final battle — Ragnarök — the outcome of which will depend on how well you strengthened their armies.
Beware, only a few of them will come out victorious. Will you side with the right ones? As a mortal, your place in the new world depends on it.

At first is hard to understand what is going on in this big board. You have ten cards, three action pawns but there are a lot of gods, light and darkness seals, sacred stones, warriors, temples to build, extra pawns to buy, battles to support and Ragnarok coming! But after that first shock is quite easy to play.
You select the gods where you are going to send your pawns in secret, the order does matter cause the player that selects the top of the two spots gets a bonus action. This selection very often is the same as other players so you must be prepared and react accordingly so is not a waste of your play.
Each god gives you sacred stones that are used to build temples, this action extends in a very good way, when you build the temple you place a god avatar in a battle exchanging this avatar for a tile that gives you a benefit. And you are now supporting this god in the Ragnarok, wich is gonna give you points if the battle is resolved in the god favor. But you are not alone on this task, as other player may build a temple to the same god, so both are supporting and helping the god to win, a symbiotic society is created in this manner. Also when you build a temple, one of your pawns is placed in the board, so you loose an action, therefore it is good to go to Asgard for extra pawns.
The buying of the extra pawns has a very interesting mechanism, as they got cheaper as other players buy their own before you, so you must time this action to your own benefit.
Another excellent thing about the game is that sacred stones, seals and special actions tiles are allways available, because if you must take some of this and the supply does not have enough you take it from the player that has the most of it. So if you have some resources, use them!
And finally the Ragnarok develops. And all the player will be helping the gods with weapons, wizardry tiles and extra warriors.
A very interactive game, with so many things around. Fantastic game! Fantastic!
