This is a game for older children and adults. It is unique in that each player sets his own goals for success, without disclosing them to other players. Do you want to achieve fame by going to the moo, or would you rather earn a fortune in big business? Perhaps you would prefer happiness without either fame or fortune, or some combination of all three. In this game you decide and you win by being the first to reach goals you have set.

...which were the 2 rather monotonous board games my 9 year old had for Christmas last year. On a visit to my parents I found out the version of Careers I had been given in the 1970's and we've had such fun playing it, although my son is a little fed up because he hasn't managed to beat me yet. Somehow he never quite makes the money target he sets himself. We will definitely be finding space in our luggage to take the game back home with us.
