No matter how many times you play this game, something is always different. We would easily play for hours and never be tired of it. The game belonged to a person in England, and unfortunately I live in the US so I am hunting this game down! It does become infectious, and I know that my students would love to play it in their free-time after class. The combinations of characters is a fun exercise in strategy.

I have to agree with the Review submitted by the Legendary Andy Johnson (in Mystic Wood circles anyway...)

The (now rare) expansion kit adds years of play to an already excellent experience.

Mystic Wood is one of the top 5 games I have ever played. Get it. Play it. Live it. (is that too much ...?)

An absolute masterpiece.

I am an experienced gamer of German, American and British board games and have sampled everything from 1830 and Diplomacy to Midnight Party and Settlers of Catan.

Mystic Wood (with extension kit) is without doubt the finest game I have ever played, and I have played it over 100 times. It remains fresh and varied - and fun.

Absolutely superb. A masterpiece.
