All the players are detectives. Everyone has orders to track down and arrest wanted criminals. However, the crooks are invisible. But with the help of the Electronics Crime Scanner, they can find their respective traces, so the crooks can be chased and caught. With the Electronics Crime Scanner, the detectives eavesdrop on the crooks. They hear the noise of a creaking floor or a rattling window, a police siren or running footsteps, etc. There's a reward offered on all burglars -- collect enough reward money, and you win the game!

This game has everything--sounds of windows breaking, police sirens, doors opening etc. My copy of this game broke around 1983 and I have been looking for it since. I am excited to see that it is still around!
You control one of eight possible detectives (4 male and 4 female) and try to track a thief who is committing crimes in 4 buildings and the streets surrounding them. The computerized scanner keeps track of the thief's whereabouts while players use a combination of cards, the scanner, and deductive reasoning to track the thief down. But, be careful. You may get the thief tracked down and try to arrest him just to have him run away from you. Different thiefs (chosen at random) have different monetary reward amounts for their capture. You win when you are the first to reach $2500. Players can steal money from each other, too.
