First to a million dollars wins in this exciting game of financial empire building for 2-5 players.
Each player represents an investor. You begin by traveling around the U.S., searching for an open market in which to start one of the eight different Fast Food Corporations.
Once established, you'll expand by adding franchises to existing markets and opening new markets, hoping to connect your separate markets and franchises into a nationwide chain. If you're successful, your Corporation will generate greater dividends passing Start and earn higher income from other players when they visit your markets.
You may advertise to increase the odds that players do land on your markets but beware, media campaigns can be expensive... and if you're short of cash when you land on another player's market, you'll have to dismantle your empire to pay up.

Our families absolute favorite game! It's kind of like Monopoly, but soooo much better. Each time you play the layout is different. Very fun, just wish more than 5 players could play.
Fast Food Franchise is an interesting blend of two classic business board games, namely Monopoly and Acquire. The outside of the board is a track of squares similar to a Monopoly board, with most squares open to ownership. The center of the board is a (very) abstract representation of the United States reduced to a grid of open cells. Certain squares are separated by black lines that represent mountain chains and serve to break up the board into regions and increase the strategy of the game.
Each player is an entrepreneur buying into a set of eight very different fast food franchises. Each chain of restaurants varies in several key aspects. Cost of start-up, cost of additional franchises, advertising costs, and potential revenue differ from one restaurant to the next, as does the number of franchises available.
As play proceeds, players buy into the chains and place franchises onto the board, trying to connect major market areas, which result in huge amounts of revenue. Buying advertising is often expensive, but can result in huge profits when opponents are forced to move to one of your primary market squares.
While the game lacks a lot of visual flash, it is one of the best business games I have played, and it is recommended by those looking for a fun economics game.
