Where the past meets the future! 3,600 questions about the facts and follies of the past 1,000 years, including 105 color photo cards. Futuristic design: Collectible "pie-wedge" tin box; circular gameboard with new photo images; luminescent pie wedges, and card holder.
I'm a Korean living in Seoul, Korea. An American friend of mine gave it to me as a present, saying it's real fun and everything.
I liked all the shiny and fun little things in the game + all those cards with thousands of questions except that for most of the questions, I just could never even guess what the answers could possibly be!!
A very very difficult and boring game for a non-American.
(I'm a fluent speaker of English, having attended an American school for 4 yrs.!)
What goes around, comes around. Trivial Pursuit with its famous six-spoked wheel has been going around for many years now, occasionally spawning variations focusing on more specific topics. The object remains the same: to answer questions in six categories, then make it onto the hub and answer one final question. The scoring pies and wedges are translucent now, and the wedges are carefully designed not to get stuck. The box has been dolled up, too. We've always liked Trivial Pursuit for its interesting questions. If you didn't know an answer, you'd always want to find out, so you could use your newly gathered trivia tidbit in conversation. Trivial Pursuit is one auld acquaintance that should definitely not be forgot!
