Fantastic Abstract Strategy game
February 25, 2003

I am one of the few people out there who i guess bought this game. Its out of print, and not really available anywhere (even on Ebay!), so that makes it more special to me. Bottomline its a fantastic abstract strategy game. I know im taking on a sacred cow here, but i feel its a better game than Chess. Its easier to learn, but has more opening moves/positions than Chess does and by 3rd,4th,5th turn has FAR more board positions than Chess could ever hope for. Even trying to program a good AI for this in a computer would probably give programmers and the computer itself a fit. However, all that being said, though the strategy can be quite deep, its easy to play fast and agressive and still have fun. Unlike losing your queen in Chess, each piece of this game has the potential to do real damage, and you can make a real comeback even with limited numbers of pieces, if you use your head. A great game that never took off, but i consider it the best abstract strategy game ever...and since i own one of the few copies apparently in existence out there...makes it that much cooler! :) You can check out the boardgamegeek link to see pictures of it.
