Product Description

Who has read Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson and not daydreamed about finding the buried silver that Squire Trelawney and his followers left behind on Treasure Island? For safety's sake Ben Gunn had inconspicuously noted the exact coordinates of the hiding place on old sea charts.

These charts are now in the hands of two rival gangs of pirates. One of them only knows the latitude and the other only knows the longitude of the hiding place on this island. They land at the same time and spy on each other to find out the other gang's secret and thus discover the treasure.

The game board corresponds to the outline and most important morphological features of the original Stevenson chart. Incidentally Stevenson first designed the old-fashioned chart of the island (together with his thirteen-year-old stepson Samuel Lloyd Osborne to whom he dedicated the book) and then wrote the famous tale.
