Naval planners worldwide anticipated it. Diplomats feared it. American and Japanese naval staffs wargamed it and the vast industrial might of Japan and the United States was turned toward building the great battleships that would fight it. But it never happened. The 1922 Five Power Naval Treaty torpedoed all the plans. But what if it didn't? What if 1922 never happened?
Players plot the movement of their fleets on the strategic map in advance. When opposing fleets meet, play moves to the battle map, where ships maneuver and fire on one another with guns and torpedoes. Submarines, Zeppelins, and Aircraft search and attack. Scenarios recreate what-if naval actions from small battle actions to a massive Jutland-like fleet engagement between the great built and unbuilt battleships of the United States and Imprial Japan.
