fun for crowded groups!

Fun,yes...Although i like games like Tikal,Acquire and San Marco, this is a different taste. You can play this game even with 8 people. You have lots of excitement during the game because you must be FAST, faster than your opponents.Being a team is important. The players in a team that can understand and feel each other, WIN.

Still good fun but without the board

Pictionary is a hilarious game. While some hardcore gamers are dubious about a title made for the family, I have not come across anyone who has wholeheartedly disliked Pictionary. I do miss the traditional board, as the Party Edition of Pictionary instead scores points along some marker spots on the drawing easel instead. This doesn't affect the overall gameplay though, and the existence of an egg-timer just adds to the mayhem. The fun really stems from each player's inability to draw quickly on a whiteboard, and some of the results can be worth capturing on film. The idea is to draw an image based on a saying or word you have read on one of the pictionary cards, and your team must guess what the phrase/word is before the egg-timer runs out. The frustration that appears on players faces when their team-mates are making wild guesses that have nothing to do with what he/she is drawing is worth the price of the game alone. Highly recommended for parties in which you don't want to see your favourite wargames trashed.
