Landyland is a board game for 2-6 players, designed by James Ernest and beautifully illustrated by Phil Foglio. It's a simple race, played with five stones per player, theee 4-sided dice, and five stacks of Magic land cards.
And if you do, you're just plain greedy. For those of you fortunate enough to have attended GenCon 98, this was a free product handed out at the door. For everyone else, it's just $1.00. The unique thing about this game is that some of the game components are Magic: The Gathering cards. Like most Cheapass games, this game requires things not included (based on the philosophy that you don't buy a can opener with every can of soup, so why should you buy pawns and dice with every board game?) In this case, you need 5 of each basic Magic: The Gathering land card per player.
Gameplay is quick and easy to learn, and Phil Foglio's art is beautiful. Definitely a quality (yet astoundingly cheap) product.
