I must agree with Mark - this game is deeply flawed. The bits are very nice, as always with Ravensburger, but as soon as your child realizes they can just keep picking the same turtle over and over, it ceases to be fun.
It might help to change the rules so an opponent picks which turtle to look for, or you could say that you can't pick the same turtle twice, but overall it's not worth the effort.
The game is slightly more involved than this. The turtles are actually divided into two categories: "Turtle ins" and "turtle outs". It is randomly determined whether you must look for a turtle in or a turtle out, but you have free choice over the color. Still, once you've seen any one turtle in and any one turtle out (which will happen by about three turns into the game), the game play becomes trivial.
There is an easy fix for this: the player to the right creates the challenge for you and then you have to find what HE selects. Although this would certainly make the game playable, I am not inspired to try this game. The game covers a lot of the same skills as Zicke Zacke Huhnernacke, which strikes me as being a superior game in several ways.
