WOW! White Palaces! Free!
December 13, 2001

GEEZ, I couldn't help but review this title, it was so compelling. Free Pieces!!!! I mean, really, who would have ever come up with such a brave, daring concept as free white pieces!! And free no less!!!??? My cheapskate ex-gaming partner and former gaming friend would probably order several of these and create his own Taj Mahal game from scratch. You think I'm kidding, right?? Well, then you don't know Bernard K in Phoenix, who shall remain nameless. Ooops. And I promise not to reveal his phone number to the ebay police who are currently hot on his trail for various price-gouging offenses in case they want to call him at 555-1212 where he lives at 1455 Wallawalla Ave, and bust down his door. Ha ha ha, gotcha BK.

Well, I was just browsing around the funagain site, and I clicked on the 'reviews' tab, and there was a list of 'Most Wanted Reviews'. Well, Taj Mahal White Palaces was at the top of the list!!! So here it goes:

Wow, what nice, white pieces!!!!

OK, there's my review. As you may or may not know, the base game which these free add on pieces are used for, Taj Mahal, is an AWESOME game, so check it out.

Nice white palaces indeed...
January 02, 2002

Yup. Really nice white palaces. With a nice speckly effect and everything. Neato.

However, there is no equally neat matching white speckly score pawn. So you're just gonna have to keep score with whatever pawn you have left over from the basic game set.

But hey, they are free, after all.
