It's a rocketful of speed when players grab the Zoom Ball handles and let it rip! How long can you keep zooming back and forth? Features an extra long 18' cord!
Each player grips the two handles on his or her side of the Zoom Ball -- one in each hand -- so that your knuckles touch. Let the Zoom Ball rest against one player's handles.
Stand apart so that the cord is almost straight -- about 18 feet apart from each other. The player closest to the Zoom Ball starts by pulling his hands and arms apart. This will send the ball zooming toward your opponent who must send it back -- the same way -- before it touches their handles. Keep on zooming until one player lets it touch his hands OR isn't able to send the Zoom Ball back!
How many times can you and your partner send the Zoom Ball back and forth without stopping? Keep trying to beat your best record!
I was looking for this forever,I remember playing with this when I was a kid and loving it! I searched and found it under "Zoom Ball" I am so excited. I will be ordering one for my autistic nephew, my grandchildren and of course myself. I can't wait!
I am also a Physical Therapist. I work with children exclusively, and use this toy every single day! I wish it was still on the market, b/c parents are always asking me to get them one! It works on upper body and trunk strenthening, eye-hand coordination and so much more!
I used a zoom ball when I worked in Home Health as a physical therapist. Many families asked to borrow one--got the elderly to smile again and to like exercising. We could work on sitting alignment, breathing deeply, upper extremity strength, standing balance, endurance, ad infinitum. Besides, I kept hearing that the grandchildren would spend so much more time with their elders. Now I want to purchase some for use in a nursing home. :-(
