Wheel of Fortune has gone thru some changes in almost 30 years. Created by Merv Griffin and produced by King World Productions for Sony Pictures Television, Wheel has added on additional games and bigger prizes for the show, including the top grand prize of $100,000 in cold, hard cash. This year, the new Wheel of Fortune board game is the 20th anniversary edition of the popular game show in syndication. The show spend 16 years on network television with Chuck Woolery, Pat Sajak, and Bob Goen (host of Entertainment Tonight) as the show's host on NBC & CBS. Let's not forget about Susan Stafford as the original letter turner and America's favorite letter turner and co-host, Vanna White. Pressman is back in the game show business by creating a new home version of Wheel. The game is the same, nothing's changed, but in the new home version, there is now a $5,000 space on the wheel. Now I wish that the new board game had a replica of the wheel like they did in the 1988 home version. We will wait and see what happens.
