Flawed, and not fun!
February 24, 2005

After having so many requests for the original Battle of the Sexes game we felt it necessary to get this game as soon as we saw it. One of the big flaws of the previous game was that it didn't have enough questions, so we thought this game was a great solution to that problem.

Well the designers of this game obviously saw the flaws of the original, and decided they wanted to surpass themselves and create a game with even more flaws. Here is just a couple of the problems with the disaster that is IQ Test:

1. They took the best thing about the original game (guys answering feminine questions, girls answering masculine questions) and essentially threw that out the window. All of the questions sound like they come from some test at school.

2. Almost every single question needs to be written down. There is so much information in the question that you can't remember it all. This would be fine if the reader could hand the card to the team answering, but they write the answer on the same side of the card as the question.

Overall it's like your taking a crappy SAT, but you can't hold the test, the professor has to read it to you. If you are going to try this game, bring lots of paper and patience. It really has nothing to do with the sexes, it's just a lousy trivia game.
