Who is the secret square?
August 18, 2003

Hollywood Squares was created by Merrill Heatter and Bob Quigley. Now playing the game is as simple as playing Tic-Tac-Toe itself. If you ever played the 2000 home version of H2, then you know that there are some new elements to the game. One of the new elements is the play money. There is a secret square game in each round. Now you do not have to be Tom Bergeron nor Peter Marshall to play the game, just be yourself. Whether you pretend to be Paul Lynne or Whoopi Goldberg, Hollywood Squares is a fun game to play. You still have to get three stars in a row either across, up and down, or diagnally. You then must decide if the stars are giving you a correct answer or just making one up..... that's how you when the square. In the board game version each completed game is worth $1,000 in play money. The first player who reaches $5,000 will win the game. You have the option of making a bonus round if you so desire. The bonus round could be played for $10,000 or $25,000 in play money. Judging from other H2 board games from the past, this board game adds tons of fun, laughter, and excitement. Take a chance and play the 2000 version of Hollywood Squares.
